- Mary’s Shelter – Treasure Coast Local
They provide a transitional, caring, educational, spiritual and supportive housing environment for pregnant women and their babies offering a pathway to self-sufficiency, and a life of dignity and respect. Since opening in 2010, Mary’s Shelter of the Treasure Coast has helped more than 90 women and 36 healthy babies have been born. Some women stay for the duration of their pregnancy, while others stay for only a few months. All of the mothers assisted have left our shelter as stronger, more independent women.
