Congratulations to Lorain County Community College Students for Life (LCCC SFL) for being named Standing With You February Group of the Month!
This group is a force for pregnant and parenting students on their campus. This year, they completed the Standing With You Campus Resource Guide form and tabled to let their peers know about on-campus and local resources for mamas and families in need.
While student leadership is already working on getting maternity parking on campus, they are also actively continuing to show support through their monthly activities. This fall, they participated in Standing With You Spirit Week, and the leadership covered their lockers in SWY stickers and materials.
Lastly, the group is actively involved in supporting their local Pregnancy Help Center. LCCC SFL hosted a tabletop and cupcake fundraiser to raise funds for the center.
We are so proud to work with groups like Lorain County Community College Students for Life, and we cannot wait to see what they accomplish next to support pregnant and parenting students!
