This grant goes to high achievers, specifically to students who have either graduated from high school in the top 20% of the class or have scored either an 1800 on the SAT or 27 on the ACT. You can apply for this grant with assistance from your high school’s guidance counselor, and it will give you as much as $2,000 a year to be used at a college in one of the following states: Connecticut, the District of Columbia, Maine, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, or Vermont.
