Through the Children and Family Services department, Catholic Charities of Kansas City-St. Joseph offers three programs: Mom’s Empowerment Program, Adoption Services, and Social Butterflies (developmental services for children between 1-5 years old). Through Mom’s Empowerment case management is offered to pregnant women up to the baby’s first birthday. Monthly case management is provided to implement and track goals, provide monthly education on topics relating to pregnancy and parenting, and offer resources to best support mother’s. Adoption services connects with and supports birth families as they experience their pregnancy and consider adoption. Adoptive couples will receive services and can inquire for information through our website.
