Diaper Train

The only diaper bank exclusively serving Wake County.

Our mission is to provide diapers, equipping families with a necessary tool to increase their mental and physical health and wellbeing. A diaper CAN change a life. Diaper Train is committed to a future where every family in Wake County has access to this basic need.

How it works:

• Diaper Train community partners make referrals online.
• Once a referral is received, the client will receive a confirmation by text.
• Diaper Train provides clients with diapers every four weeks. Every four weeks, clients receive diapers, wipes, and books for each child.
• During each visit, clients are given a reminder slip with their next eligible return date. This is a reminder, not an appointment. Clients may visit once every four weeks.
• Existing clients: If another baby/child needs to be added to a client’s household, client should bring documentation that includes the new baby’s birthdate (hospital discharge paper, birth certificate, Medicaid card, etc.) for Diaper Train to update the record.
• If a client cannot pick up diapers during distribution hours, a friend or family member may pick up diapers on their behalf. Please provide that person with a picture of the client’s ID to show to Diaper Train when they arrive.
• Diaper Train is here to serve any person experiencing need, regardless of age. Youth and adult sizes are available in addition to baby sizes.
• Clients may not utilize both direct service and community partner agency distribution simultaneously.

What you need for your visit

Once you receive a text that you are eligible to visit, bring the following:

• Photo ID
• Diaper Size(s)
• Child(ren)’s Date of Birth
