Improved Dwellings for Altoona

Improved Dwellings for Altoona, Inc. (IDA) provides low income/subsidized housing and related services to persons and families of low and moderate income, including the elderly, persons with disabilities, and families.  We have housing in Blair, Centre, Cambria, and Clearfield Counties.  We work with local officials and community members in our ongoing efforts to improve the communities’ housing stock and to provide safe, decent, and affordable housing for low- and moderate-income persons.

IDA is a non-profit corporation whose mission is:  To provide safe, decent and affordable housing and services for households of low to moderate income who cannot secure housing through rental or purchase in the private market, and to address the needs of our tenants with dignity, respect and integrity.
