Mater Filius Maternity Housing

At Mater Filius Colorado Springs, we walk with you as you pave your own path forward. Upon entry, you will receive a warm nutritious meal, hygiene supplies, clothing, a private room for you and your children, workshops, and caring mentors who walk alongside you as you develop your own path to independence. Pregnant teenagers and women with children under the age of five will be welcome regardless of their ethnicity, marital status, religious beliefs or socio-economic status.

Women will receive housing, counseling, medical care, and emotional and spiritual support at no cost to them. Through workshops, they will learn how to parent. Through prayer, they will understand the love that Jesus Christ has for them and that they have the right to be authentically loved.

Mater Filius focuses on both the mother and the unborn baby. We embrace women and will offer them safety and peace inside our home. A stable and nurturing environment is essential to a healthy pregnancy, a healthy birth, and a healthy new parent.
