Care Net of Mid-Coast Maine is a pregnancy help center created to help women and men make informed decisions about unexpected pregnancies. They provide free and confidential services, including pregnancy testing, ultrasounds, options counseling, post-abortion support, parenting resources, material assistance, and support for men. Care Net of Mid-Coast Maine is non-denominational, non-political, and non-judgmental.

Open Arms Pregnancy Center in Augusta, Maine exists to offer encouragement and support to pregnant women and young families. They provide pregnancy tests, ultrasound, prenatal care until a doctor’s care is arranged, material resources, parenting classes, emotional support for parents, and emergency assistance.

The Karis Home is in operation to provide emergency short-term help for homeless women and children. They provide food, clothing, shelter, and showers. There is no charge for the ladies and children to use the facilities. You are permitted to stay for thirty consecutive nights. If more time is needed, they are able to give an extension on a case-by-case

General support to provide professional attire and career support services to Baltimore City women making the transition from welfare to work.

They are a healthy “family-choice” pantry, and their building can be found on the campus of College Parkway Baptist Church in Arnold, MD

The New Life Food Pantry offers a “client-choice” model where patrons can select the frozen/canned meat, canned fruits and vegetables, fresh produce, assorted baked goods, beverages, personal care items, and household cleaning supplies of their choosing. 

Alpha’s Glory Pregnancy Center aims to help women who need support during their pregnancy with free pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, options counseling, material assistance programs, parenting classes, post-abortion support, and more.

SHORE UP! Inc.’s Head Start program is for children ages three to five. Programs prepare children for successful public-school readiness and participation while providing them with a means of meeting their developmental and nutritional needs. Head Start programs are federally funded community-based programs for economically disadvantaged families.

The Child Care Scholarship (CCS) Program provides financial assistance with childcare costs to eligible working families in Maryland.
