The North Dakota Department of Human Services operates eight regional human service centers. Each serves a designated multi-county area, providing counseling and mental health services, substance abuse treatment, disability services and other human services.

For over 40 years, the Emergency Food Pantry has helped feed citizens of Cass and Clay counties in times of crisis, unemployment, fire, family violence, medical problems, and other difficult situations. The pantry provides hungry families and individuals with wholesome food to tide them over during these times of emergency, fighting hunger in their communities, providing healing to families, and

​They are a domestic violence/sexual assault agency serving clients in McLean County; established in 1979. They also provide victim witness services to clients in McLean and Sheridan Counties.

Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC) is North Dakota’s premier domestic violence and rape crisis center. Located in Minot, ND. They provide a safe space for hope, healing, and planning for all survivors who have experienced violence in their home-life. Their services are free for survivors.

Catholic Charities of Wyoming is able to provide assistance and support to parents and young children.

Maternal and Child Health (MCH)- Assesses, monitors, and improves the health and well-being of mothers, infants, children, and adolescents. MCH does this by strengthening the personal care and public health systems to assure access to quality comprehensive healthcare. These services are community based, family centered and culturally appropriate. This program is free for all pregnant women in Wyoming.

All who enter their doors are provided nutritious, restaurant quality meals at no cost. Laramie Soup Kitchen is located in the lower level of St. Matthew’s Episcopal Cathedral.

Safehouse is a not-for-profit organization that operates a shelter, facilitates support groups and advocacy programs, assists with protection order filings, and provides 24-hour crisis care and safety planning. 

They have been facilitating child adoptions in North Dakota for loving, stable, and nurturing families since Catholic Charities North Dakota began in 1923.

Food Bank of Wyoming provides food and necessities to people in need through signature programs and by teaming up with over 160 Hunger Relief Partners to serve communities across the state.
