Project Safe is a non-profit organization working to end domestic violence by providing domestic violence victims a 24-hour hotline, an emergency shelter, pet sheltering, safety planning, legal and social service advocacy, emergency financial assistance, ongoing supportive services for survivors of domestic violence and their children, transitional housing services, community support groups and short term individual counseling. SAFE Shelter provides a 24-hour crisis hotline, an emergency shelter, case management, food, clothing, other personal items, support groups for adults and children, assistance with temporary protective orders, courtroom advocacy, and on-site professional counseling services. SAFE Shelter serves Savannah, Georgia. There are both services available to shelter residents and outreach services to non-residents.

They provide a stable and loving home for young mothers and their children. They provide young mothers with the educational opportunities and the life training skills that they will need to become independent, self-supporting women.

Founded in response to the alarming number of homeless pregnant women in the Atlanta Metro area. Their goal is to break the cycle that leads to homelessness and its resulting effects. They strive to provide a safe place for homeless pregnant women to live during their pregnancy.
