The Mississippi Housing Partnership (MHP) is a private, nonprofit housing organization which is committed to providing decent, safe and affordable housing opportunities through public and private collaboration.

The Center for Violence Prevention has a twenty-four hour crisis and referral line to assist in immediate needs.

All supportive services for victims are free of charge and completely confidential. Information and assistance is available, in-person or virtually, whether individuals are living in the community or living in shelter.

Providing A Place of Safety for Individuals Who Are Victims of Domestic Violence Crimes.

Serves victims of domestic abuse and their children. Temporary Shelter allows victims to escape violent situations in their homes through a variety of services, including individual and group counseling; and provision of information, referrals, and placements. Provides emergency and supplemental food for families that qualify.

Provides meals and financial assistance on a case-to-case basis.

Provide hurting women and their children a safe place to live, a haven from a dangerous world. But they also offer a pathway to true life change through a comprehensive program of spiritual counseling and life skills training as well as providing rehab opportunity.

The Center of Hope exists to give residents a hand up and not a hand out. This is an adult-only shelter that provides breakfast, dinner, counseling, and access to showers, laundry, and other amenities. Their residents are also provided assistance and tools to find employment.

Catholic Charities provides a variety of services for those who are unable to help themselves; especially children, women, and families. They provide services for mental health assistance, abuse intervention, housing programs, and serve pregnant mothers, parents, and migrants.
