They help women facing an unplanned or unwanted pregnancy learn all of their choices pertaining to their pregnancy.

For over 40 years, MSP has been an innovator in changing lives by providing DC’s first hotline and first domestic violence shelter, and most recently, first Batterer Intervention group. As DC’s oldest domestic violence shelter, we have served as a cornerstone of the District’s response to this pressing public health issue since 1979, and our impact on DC’s community remains

DASH provides services for emergency and transitional housing; assistance finding affordable housing, housing allowance, support services, financial empowerment, and follow up assistance.

SOME provides material aid and comfort to vulnerable neighbors in the District by helping them break the cycle of poverty and homelessness through programs and services that save lives, improve lives, and help transform lives of individuals and families, their communities, and the systems and structures that affect them. I.e food pantry, career building opportunities etc.

Fortitude Housing is a program that offers a different approach to fighting homelessness. Each resident in the program is given their own apartment, fully furnished and one-on-one case management services that help connect residents with employment support, social security benefits, education and other support services that help rebuild lives.

The Volunteer Medical Clinic provides primary health care to people in our community who do not have access to medical care through public benefits or private insurance. Patients are not charged for visits to see a health care professional.

Catholic Charities provides case management services for families experiencing homelessness through the Family Re-housing Stabilization Program (FRSP).

Barker, a nonprofit adoption agency licensed in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, D.C., is built on the fundamental belief that all children deserve safe, loving, and permanent families.

CSC offers two preschool options, Head Start and Pre-K Counts. Additionally, CSC provides support for your baby’s growth and development from birth to age 3. We provide preschool for eleven area school districts: Allentown, Bangor, Easton, Bethlehem, East Penn, Salisbury, Northampton, Northern Lehigh, Parkland, Pen Argyl and Whitehall-Coplay, and we also collaborate with Colonial Intermediate Units 20 and 21. In
