The Haven – Outpatient

Founded in 1970, The Haven was created as a solution to the clear gap that existed in addiction recovery services—there were no substance use recovery centers in Tucson for women and their children. Research shows that relationships, especially with family and children, play an important role in women’s substance use, treatment, and relapse. Furthermore, about 7 in 10 women in recovery are mothers. To meet the needs of women in recovery, The Haven became officially incorporated as a non-profit addiction recovery facility just for women.
