The Emergency Shelter is a 50-bed facility available to homeless families and single adults. The program is staffed 24 hours a day, seven days a week. - Holy Family Home and Shelter Inc. State
Holy Family Home and Shelter, Inc., is a non-profit organization, that offers 28 bed home and shelter for fathers, mothers and their children, and a small number of single females. Residents, who stay on average 60 days, receive 3 meals a day, life skills workshops, case management, laundry facilities, an education program for children, assistance with permanent housing and employment searches. Also provides referrals to other agencies if needed.

The Safe Haven Laws allows a parent to voluntarily give up custody of an infant age 30 days or younger, to the nursing staff of an emergency room. The parent will not be subject to arrest for abandonment. This act does not protect the parent from being arrested and criminally prosecuted if abuse or neglect has occurred.
