During their stay in the shelter, they gain access to community resources such as legal, medical, housing, education, training programs, and employment.

They provide services to clients who are victims of domestic, family, and dating violence. Clients receive confidential support and counseling with tools to equip them with the knowledge and necessary skills.

The Lord’s Food Pantry Food Bank works to alleviate hunger in Central Mississippi.

The PHA constantly pursues ways to better respond to the critical housing shortage: the shortage of affordable housing. Aging housing stocks, blight, substandard units, and chronic homelessness are problems that we seek to address.

The Mississippi Regional Housing Authority IV provides over 2,500 assisted housing units for over 7,000 individuals in the nine northeast Mississippi counties.

They are there to provide low-income families, seniors, and people with disabilities access to safe, affordable housing.

The Mississippi Housing Partnership (MHP) is a private, nonprofit housing organization which is committed to providing decent, safe and affordable housing opportunities through public and private collaboration.

MUTEH’s mission is identify, engage, serve, and advocate for vulnerable populations in the state of Mississippi, while providing research-based supportive housing services; promoting affordable housing development; and to collect, analyze, and report on the data variables that guide the mission forward.

Matt’s House assists clients and families in finding secure housing, and to move that client or family toward long-term stability through providing referrals and offering supportive services. While at Matt’s House, clients are expected to meet regularly with a case manager to determine a plan of action. The case management staff at Matt’s House monitors and evaluates the progress of our program participants and provides information and referrals to other providers, including Stewpot’s Rapid Rehousing Program, job readiness classes, and employment programs and opportunities.
