Pledge to Stand With Her
in a post-Roe America.
Following the reversal of Roe v. Wade, leading abortion organizations like the Women's March have responded with anger and violence, including a "summer of rage" that has manifested in violence towards pro-life advocates & property. In stark contrast to this reaction, we pledge to Stand With Her - standing with women, meeting them where they are, and empowering them to embrace both their children and their dreams. Sign the pledge below and receive free pro-life, pro-woman stickers (at right)!
I pledge to...
Encourage Her.
If I cross paths with a mother or a father who is facing an unplanned pregnancy, I will be a voice of hope and empowerment. There are often more voices saying, "You can't," but I will be there to say, "You can!"
Get to know a pregnancy center.
I will ensure I know exactly where I would direct someone in my area for non-violent pregnancy help. I will identify my favorite local center, familiarize myself with their services, and even consider touring the center to get a feel for what they do and what the client experience is like. Find your nearest pregnancy center here.
Volunteer.
I will give at least two hours of my time this summer to standing with women, whether that be asking my local pregnancy center what help they need, distributing information on local non-violent pregnancy resources to people in my town as part of the Campaign for Abortion Free Cities, or even just volunteering to babysit for a friend. However, if I'm unable to volunteer my time, I pledge to donate a material good (like diapers, wipes, baby food, etc.). Learn more about Abortion Free Cities here.
Identify myself as a safe person.
I will take at least one small, public action to mark myself as a safe person to go to for help in an unplanned pregnancy situation, or for help with parenting challenges. This could be sharing occasional social posts from Standing With You, putting a Standing With You sticker on my laptop or water bottle, adding a line to my bio on social, or another means.
