The Catholic Charities’ Little Flower Assistance Center serves individuals and families facing crisis in the city of Aurora and those residing in Denver zip codes 80231, 80239 and 80249 from 9:30 a.m. — 3:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Available services include:
- Referrals to additional community resources, such as local human service agencies.
- A generous supply of groceries for a household.
- Distribution of personal care items such as soap, shampoo, deodorant, oral hygiene supplies and adult incontinence needs.
- Diapers and formula for infant children.
- Gently used clothing provided through the generosity of Our Lady of Loretto Church parishioners and other donors.
- Employment counseling for clients seeking assistance finding jobs.
- Bus passes for seniors and persons with disabilities requiring transportation to medical appointments.
- Monthly commodity allocations to clients aged 60 and older who meet federal eligibility requirements.
- Health and wellness education for all clients.
What to bring:
- Every adult in the household must provide a valid photo identification and current proof of address.
- Each child in the household is required to have one of the following documents: birth certificate, immunization records, school identification or baptismal certificate.
