Health Center: offers many services, like well-woman exams, pregnancy tests, and referrals

Counseling Center: All students (undergraduate and graduate) enrolled at the University, registered for classes and having paid the Wellness Fee, are eligible for our services. Services are free for enrolled students.

Lactation Rooms: There are 20 rooms across campus for nursing mothers. Use this link to find a room on campus! If you have additional questions, or would like to add a location to this list, please contact the Office of Institutional Engagement & Wellbeing at 412-648-7860

Free Menstrual Products: Use this map to find restrooms where materials are available.

Food Pantry: The Pitt Pantry is located on the first floor of the O’Hara Student Center and can be accessed by the door near the elevators or the side entrance of O’Hara during pantry hours. Emergency meal services are also provided.

Thrift Store: Pitt’s student-run, on-campus thrift store, The University of Thriftsburgh, has regular store hours, online sales, and holds an annual Fall Reuse Rummage Sale for clothing, household goods, and furniture as students return to campus. Campus also provides a Career Closet to rent professional clothing.

Free Public Transportation: All Pitt students and employees can ride Pittsburgh Regional Transit (PRT) fare free with the Ready2Ride app. Just sync up your Pitt information to ride buses & inclines at no cost! PRT provides service throughout Allegheny County, including Oakland and Pittsburgh.

On-campus Childcare: offered for students with children 6 weeks-5 years old

Family and Children’s University Programs: there are several programs for families with young children the University provides through the Office of Child Development.

Financial Assistance Programs: there are various assistance programs and scholarships available

Housing Assistance Programs: various on-campus and off-campus options and assistance available
