Congratulations to Tarleton Students for Life, the January Group of the Month for Standing With You, in Stephenville, Texas at Tarleton State University.
Tarleton Students for Life has done an exceptional job supporting moms and families in need while educating and engaging with the campus community and students.
One way was through the Standing With You tabletop event titled “Know Your Rights,” which educated the community on the rights of pregnant and parenting students.
They also drove several hours to participate in an Abortion Free Cities lit-dropping campaign alongside Texas Regional Coordinator Faith Elwonger. This campaign enabled Tarleton Students for Life to educate the community about local pregnancy resources and provide diapers and wipes to a deserving family.
Looking ahead, the group is currently researching local and on-campus pregnancy resources to create a Standing With You Resource Guide for the students at Tarleton State University.
Standing With You applauds the efforts of Tarleton Students for Life and eagerly anticipates the great work they’ll do next.
